안녕하십니까! 초보 Process Engineer입니다.
맡은 프로젝트 관련해서 Boiler code를 보구있는 중에

ASME Section I에  PG-61.1를 보면 Except as provided for in PG-61.2 and
PG-61.4, boilers having more than 500 ft2 (47 m2) of water‐heating surface shall have at least two means of feeding water. Except as provided for in PG-61.3, PG-61.4, and PG-61.5, each source of feeding shall be capable
of supplying water to the boiler at a pressure of 3% higher than the highest setting of any pressure relief valve
on the boiler proper.

라는 문구를 보고 궁금한것이 생겼는데요;
위의 문구가 보일러에 PSV의 Set pressure보다 높게 BFW를 공급하라고 이해를 했는데,
그러면 PSV가 터지지 안나요? 아니면 BFW의 압손실을 고려해서 하는 이야기인지;;
이해가 안가서 질문드려봅니다ㅠ
